We went a little MIA over the holidays, and took a MUCH needed break from the site and all things work and social media. So it feels like we’re finally getting our feet back underneath us for diving back in, with inspiration and work. Re-entry is a real thing when trying to readjust. Today, it just felt appropriate to revisit some of our favorites, for some of our amazing clients. So without further ado, in no particular order… a few of our favorite projects of the year!
1. Favorite Projects of the Year: The Glenn Oaks House {Kitchen}
This space got a major makeover with our amazing clients. We love the way that it was able to come together for a great new look!
But this is just a glimpse, so be sure to check out more of this happy space, here.
2. Favorite Projects of the Year: The Blue House {outside makeover}
We see a lot of homes with great potential and bones, but this one was simply swoon-worthy from the get-go. All we had to do was add a little flair. We love the changes we were able to make to the outside for such a beautiful result.
Outside spaces are definitely still at the top of the docket for the upcoming year, {more on that later this week} and this space is no exception! We love that they can entertain endlessly with their kids by the pool, in this amazing space.
We just really loved pulling this one together!
While you’re at it, check out their Handmade Hideaway here… they built it themselves and we were thrilled to style it!
3. Favorite Projects of the Year: The Blue House {basement}
Taking the party inside, we love the way this space is oh so flexible, from the small kitchen, to the room for kids to spread out and entertain, for working out and more.
Be sure to check out all the details here!
4. Favorite Projects of the Year: The Glenn Oaks House {Living Areas}
You saw their kitchen above, but be sure to check out all the details here, from the dining room upgrade to the fresh family library. We love the way it all looks for this sweet family!
There’s nothing we love more than children’s art, and we adore the way their home is decorated! They were looking for something to both display, but also help make the space multi functional, and we love the solution we came up with!
5. Favorite Projects of the Year: The Glenn Oaks House {children’s bath}
We loved giving their children’s bath a fun update to grow with both siblings!
And you know we love a few well-placed stripes for the win!
6. Favorite Projects of the Year: Shared Bathroom Space
Another children’s bath space on the radar was shared by two sisters. Something that can definitely grow with them in the meantime! And oh so fun.
Byyeeee carpet. Be sure to check out more of the fun details {and sources, if you’re looking} in the actual post!
7. Favorite Projects of the Year: The Wilson Pike House {the entryway}
This was an extensive project that included the fabulous reconfiguration of the front of their home, along with a sitting room and front office. The column went and the wall was knocked back to create a separate space out of this traditional, longer living room.
We really loved bringing in all this character, for a practical space in their home.
Their dining room went through a few subtle changes for big impact as well, for a whole new look with their fireplace + Jeffrey Court tile.
8. Favorite Projects of the Year: The Wilson Pike House {the kitchen}
But onward to the kitchen, where we were happy to prove that you don’t have to take on a total gut out to make a kitchen incredible. AND, white kitchens are STILL timeless. I don’t care what the latest article {written by someone who wants to stress everyone out} says.
Bye Tuscany by Olive Garden circa 2000. Hello beautiful facelift with simplicity. The new owners have really great taste. So much fun character, and we love that those cabinets already went all the way to the ceiling.
Be sure to see more of that space, here!
9. Favorite Projects of the Year: The Wilson Pike House {the bath}
Which brings us to their main bathroom.
For obvious reasons, this is one of our very favorites. We love that the owners were ready to take a fun “risk” beyond white with that awesome blue Jeffrey Court HD tile, that they’ll love for years to come. So much fun!
See more of all those details, here!
10. Favorite Projects of the Year: Light and Bright Expansion {Kitchen!}
This kitchen was such a satisfying project! We loved expanding and changing it all over for these awesome clients.
See why this before and after is so much fun?
Be sure to check out all the details in the link above!
11. Favorite Projects of the Year: Workspace for Kids
Probably one of our most popular, for the simplest of reasons! We loved knocking back this wall with our clients, and creating a whole new, fresh space. Another example of people looking at their homes in fresh new ways.
12. Favorite Projects of the Year: Bye Brown {a bathroom refresh}
Another refreshing example, of how not everything needs to be a total gut out. Check out all the details in the link above!
13. Favorite Projects of the Year: A Half Bath Update
Sometimes it’s the simplest of projects, that make the biggest difference. And this is one of them!
14. Favorite Projects of the Year: Brewer Drive Kitchen Reveal
In case ya missed it, right before the holidays, we shared this little kitchen overhaul. It made quite the difference!
15. Favorite Projects of the Year: Eclectic Glam Teen Girls Room Makeover
Because these are still our very favorite kinds.
It’s clearly an honor to work with such amazing clients who trust us in their homes, to help create something fun.
We have a ton coming your way in the new year, and we hope you’ll stay with us. Cheers to a great 2022. {Yes, our hopes can’t go anywhere but up. We hope you feel the same way.}
