I tend to sprinkle in new things here and there when it comes to freshening up every holiday, and I love practical finds. I love a good, easy ensemble for the outdoors. Honestly, by the time I’m done with the inside, I’m ready to forget the outside. So this little solution of trees {available in multiple sizes}, red pots + easy pillow covers {disclaimer – these are not outdoor pillows, but they hold up fine for the price} seemed like a great solution.
Details: We have two three-foot and one four-foot trees on our porch.
Tip: We stacked bricks in the bottom and on the sides of the trees so that they won’t blow over. I love their little Charlie Brown vibes. This Christmas, I secured some simple plastic colorful ornaments {similar here + here} to them so that they’re colorful in the daytime, too. Hook them up to your Kasa lights system, {here’s an outdoor plug} and it’s so easy to manage.

I’ll be sharing my favorite room for Christmas with you next week, but let’s say this year, my daughter walked in the room and declared it Whoville. Clearly, we’re not afraid of color. Our long-standing staple finally bit the dust last year, and we donated it to a better cause, hoping someone could make repairs and give it a home. This year, we found this glorious tree, and are smitten with the LED lights + various settings. Ours is the 7.5 height. I also had to give it a vintage vibe again this year with tinsel + velvet ribbon. Plus, one can never have too many mirrorballs.
