While we’ve had good intentions and I think we’ve tried to tackle a few home improvement things around the house this summer, we also know that “second spring” is coming soon. We’ve really been embracing those final days of summer with the kiddos, and since things will be cooling off, and the kids will be back in school, we’ll be able to dive in more with our never ending list of things around the house. But right now, it’s the simple things that are kind of game changers for our backyard. So we’re sharing some summer time spruce ups around the house… or for any time of year.
For instance, these chairs were absolutely driving me crazy. We knew we knew this would be an easy little project with our Greenworks Tools pressure washer.
Ew, David. Check out how dirty they’ve gotten just from sitting around the yard.
We’ve even been replenishing flowers, freshening up in all the small ways that we can. In the meantime, we have a long list of things that we need to tackle. But these chairs were driving me crazy. These trees have no mercy around here. {You should see the Handmade Hideaway. Shame. Shame.}
I snapped this guy the other day when I was planting more of said flowers. I swear cleaning up and sprucing the little things around your home are self-care, too.
We decided to clean it up with the Greenworks 3000 PSI pressure washer, for a whole new look. Greenworks Tools are our go-to yard tools for all things fixer-upper projects no matter the time of year.
And is there anything more satisfying than pressure washing? Sometimes it’s truly the simple things. These chairs truly needed it.
This is a still shot from our insta-feed today, where you can see us take it on. Pressure washing videos are to me, as slime videos are to my kids.
We even replenished this little rug that usually sits in the handmade hideaway, too. This little area makes for a great summer resting spot in our side driveway in between those intense rounds of H-O-R-S-E.
The boys love it as their drink lemonade and sit-in-between basketball tourneys spot.
It’s all really come such a long way from that before!
Byyeee crusty garage doors.
So here are a few more fave summer spruce-ups {or projects for any time of the year, really} with Greenworks Tools!
We did the entire side driveway this past fall, and we’ll do it again this year. {The house needs it, too.}
Also, their blower keeps me sane all year long.
Our back porch clean-up, just a few weeks ago. {Where has the summer gone?} Game changer.
