We know that some of you have probably checked out on all things reality, since the to do lists are growing longer and the season is almost here. I blame social media, since people were throwing up their Christmas trees the day after Halloween and now we’ve all moved on to Valentine’s Day because over it.
But JK. Because that’s a nice dose of sarcasm for those of you who have absolutely no idea why I wrote this or why you’re still reading it right now. Every now and then we get a weird comment on a post from seven years ago where someone takes us seriously. And we’re all, I can’t believe you a. took us seriously and b. I had to read your scathing comment that you actually took the time to write because you’re mad at a total stranger who was obviously attempting at the humors. #rabies.
So I guess you could say that we wanted to be useful in case you’re checking in, and scrambling for something to bring to that family gathering. You know, the one with the judgy great Aunt Caprice you’re obligated to see once a year who makes references to that one time when you were sixteen and made an embarrassing mistake even though she’s apparently on her fifteenth marriage. Cool story, Caprice. So now you can stick it to her by bringing the most epic concoction to said gathering, and proving once and for all that even though you’re clearly 37, you’re no longer 16. And that her passive aggressive outtakes don’t matter because you’re the queen of lemon squares. {PS. I’m already cringing and I’m so sorry if your name is Caprice. It just popped in there when I was on a coffee high writing this and I think you’re AMAZING. I’ve only known NICE Caprice and that’s why I used your name.}
