Hello fabulous friends and happy 2023! {It will probably take me months to get that one right when writing it down.} We hope you had a very merry holiday, and a happy new year! We took most of the last week off completely, getting our own home and affairs and things we needed to work on, in order. From taking down those decorations to installing some cabinets in our addition {we’re SO close}, it’s been a busy week just doing a little home self-care. This has been a real season of gratefulness for us. So we’re ready to hit it hard with clients and projects and more this week! We were feeling a little reflective, and wanted to revisit this last year’s content. So from simple to big, with stained glass to kitchen renovations and full on additions… we’re revisiting some of our favorite projects of the year! {And some of our favorite posts, too.}
Here are some of our faves.
These free monograms – Print them out in any size! Too fun to pass up.
Kaleidoscope art with Frogtape It’s the perfect time of year to tackle some new art!
This project I took on with our middle, is one of my personal faves.

Then, on a personal note, after working {for years to make it happen, really} on our own primary addition, we were able to move in. We’ve shown sneak peeks and we hope to share the grand reveal in the next few months! It has taken a while to get in those finishing pieces from glass to organized closets to cabinets to wallpaper and more… {it’s all in the details}. But it’s been a real game changer for our family… taking this little 1976 fixer upper from under 1700 sq ft when we first moved in, to about 3800… It’s been the perfect space for us. More of the good stuff coming in this year because we can’t wait to share it all with you!

Because in the middle of chaos, it was fun to do the simple projects, too. Maybe I’m just craving spring?
These hardwoods… because once we finished our addition, we moved right back out of the rest of the house, to take care of a leak which happened last winter. Even though we wanted to pull our hair out, it was all rainbows and unicorns in the end, since we were able to match our floors this way. I’m giving you guys an update on the space, this week! Because this entire room is in the middle of an overhaul as a result…
After all this chaos, we were finally able to spread out and finish playing musical bedrooms… A colorful teen girls room – I gotta say guys… she was a tough client ;}

These doors. It was an example of really taking something new on, and learning on the fly, for me personally. One of my own little victories, probably. How to build them, here.
And while I’m at it because it is my favorite thing to do… the entire series of stained glass, here.
Yes, as mentioned above… this space is coming soon.

Sorry not sorry, I’m including our Halloween costumes this past year. Because this one was pretty fun if we do say so ourselves. Yes, that’s Jamin twice.
And we loved adding some major changes to the front + back of the house, before all things cold weather rolled in. To be honest, coming right off of a fresh addition to the house this was a lot at the time. But now we’re so glad we did!
Bye 1976

And in the back, we love our new deck with YellaWood. Stripes for the win!
We can’t wait to show you all our new progress this spring!
So these were some of our hilights for fun posts this last year. We hope you had fun checking it out! We can’t wait to dive in to the new year, and we’re wishing you a very happy and fresh 2023.
